OTAKIRI MEETING

The July meeting of the Otakiri Women's Institute was held in the hall on July 1. Mrs Dunning pre-< sided a small attendance. The secretary read a letter from Bill Rennic to Mrs Tickner thanking her for a parcel receiA T ed. The Golden Thread Avas read by Mrs Cristall who read an article from the Reader's Digest. Afternoon tea Avas served by Mrs Cobden and Mrs White* side. The competition Avinners were: Article from flour bag, Mrs Whiteside 1. Fruit pie, Mrs Wootls 1.
