BOROUGH ELECTRICITY

ENGINEER'S REPORT In his report to the Borough Council last Monday evening the Electrical Engineer, Mr F. W. Lysaght, stated as under:— The following new installations havte been inspected and connected to the supply also a number of alterations and additiohs: Ranges 1, hotwater cylinders 1, lighting 2, New Service Lines: The new service lines erected during the month are as follows: 13-3 phase service lines in Crete Street to supply ranges, cylinders and lighting etc. in Government houses. Water Works Department: No. 1 pump has been completely taken down and spare parts have been fitted. The old parts were found to be v<ery badly worn indeed. Considerable improvement has been effected by this overhaul. The old parts have been sent to A. and G. Price Limited to bte reconditioned. The plant No. 2 has ben in service every day during the month. Building Permits: One building permit was issued during the month the value being £485.
