BLAME THE JEWS
GOEBBELS' TEN POINTS
Ten- now points governing Germans hi Iheir relations \v itlx Jews, issued by Germany's Propaganda Minister, Dr Joseph (iocbbets, were published on November ! I, in Berlin, in the periodica! Das Reich. They followed thorough-going anti Jewish action throughout Germany mi the transfer of many .b'ws from ijerlin and other parts o!' Germany i.o territory in the East during recent weeks. It was no! specified what section the Jews were being iaken (perhaps to Poland or German-occupied 'Western Russia), but earlier word from German}' indicated that they were being moved by thousands. The altitude towards Jews as outlined by Goebbels was : 1. JeAvs started this war; they want to destroy Germany. 2. There is no difference between Jew and Jew; they all are sworn enemies of tlie Reich. 3. For every soldier that dies, Jews are to blame; therefore they must pay for this. 4. Whoever wears the star of David (prescribed for all Jews) is an enemy of the people; whoever goes around with these people, privately is the same as a Jew and must be. treated as such. 5. Jews enjoy the protection of our enemy countries; no further proof of the destructive role tlicy are plying among our people is needed. G. Jews are couriers of the enemy amcng us; he who goes around with them is a deserter in war time. 7. Jews have no right to feel equal with us; wherever they raise their voice they should be told to keep quiet . . . Simply because they arc Jews and have no voice in the community. 8. If a Jew plays upon your sentimentality, remember that that is a mere speculation on your l'orge tfulness; show him you see through him and punish him by your disdain. 9. A decent cncinv after defeat deserves magnanimity; the Jew isn't So; lie just pretends he is. 10. Jews are to blame for the war's treatment; tliej' get from us just what they deserve; they have more than earned it.
