A SCOTS TROOP
LOCAL SCOUT MOVEMENT Providing a sufficient number ot beys of Scottish extract present themselves, and that the present strength of the existing Scout troop is not undermined, the Citizens Committee last Monday evening decided to sponsor a movement for the formation of a Scottish troop of Scouts, members of which would wear the kilt and filibeg. In all other re-< spects the uniform will be the same as that required for ordinary Scouts. The idea is one which should prove highly popular locally arfd approximately twenty boys will be re- | quired over the age of nine years. Mr C. F. Thomas who is interesting himself in the troop formation will be glad to hear of any names of local boys willing and keen to join.
