SUCCESSFUL CLEARING SALE DAIRY COWS FETCH £16/5/Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held a clearing sale of dairy stock and sundries on account of Mr W. Rau, Waiotahi. This quality herd came forward In good condition and sold under keen competition before a large attendance of buyers. Butterfat records -were supplied, and all cows with good backing realised high values. Realisations: Best cowSj £14 to £1G ss; good cows, £10 to £12 10s; others, £5 to £9 10s; in-calf Jersey heifers, £7 15s to £8 ss; heifer calves, to £3 7s. The whole herd averaged £8 17s Gd.
