LOST AT SEA

FATE OF LOCAL HINDU Search was resumed this morning for the body of Rai Kapoor, a local Hindu who lived at the Pa. While returning by boat from the spit with a load of driftwood he had collected 1 the current swept him across the bar and' out to sea at about 6.30 p.m. last evening. His calls for help were heard by several residents at the Heads who organised a party to search the rocks and keep wiaitch. The police were also notified an.d 1 sustained l a watch with the aid of search lights tiil midnight. A heavy sea failed to drown the cries of the distressed man but it was impossible to do much more than keep a sharp lookout for iany sign of his whereabouts. The missing man was about 28 years, married 1 with a young family.
