SmedleyFlyweight: Teddy Lawer, A 1 Petersen, A llan Hall, A 1 BrownPUNISHED FOR LOSING Members of the Spanish Soccer team, beaten 4—o by Italy on April 19, are to be punished following an investigation into the performance of the team. The managing committee of the National Delegation of Sports has issued the following statement;— 1 "The committee, having carefully looked into the play- of the Spanish team on the occasion of the international match with Italy, regrets that this was* not of the level required by our international prestige and the good sporting name of Spain. Consequently the. National Delcgaiton of Sporis has agreed on punishment for these members of the team deserving them; those who fulfilled their duty will be exempted."
