Barbed Wire for Army Barbed wire for military purposes is still urgently required by the Army and if it is not forthcoming as a result of an appeal a commandeer will be necesary. "Farmers should realise,'" said the senior Army officer at one headquarters, "that if thej r voluntarily sell reserve stocks o,f wire to us they Avill save then>sclves the trouble and expense of having to erect new fences if or when we take wire from existing fences. We ivant the wire urgently."
