SUCCESSFUL CLEARING SALE Messrs Dalgety and: Co. Ltd., report having heldi a clearing sale off dairy herd on account of Mr SL. M. Jephson, Gpotiki. The herd submitted showed quality and was in good condition. Complete butterfat records were supplied which l averaged over 3001'bs of fat. There was a large and representative attendance? of buyers, competition was exceedingly, keen and all cows withi but* terfat backing realised high values. Realisations: Best cows £13 to £15; good cows £10 to £12 10s; others £7 10s to £9 10s; heifer calves £5 6s;, 2year pedigree Jersey bulls 15%gris. The whole herd excluding unsound "cows averaged £10 4s.
