ROAD OBSTRUCTION
RATEPAYERS' PETITION REMOVAL REQUESTED Messrs E. S. Grant, A. Ferguson* R. J. Sliaw, L. M. Martiii, P. JFlynn and J. Wilson, as: ratepayers of the Whakatane 1 County, have written petitioning the cauncill for the removal of buildings, gates, fences and/or ether obstuctions now erected or placed upon or across the public road in the Rangitaiki Riding running alongside: the properties owned by Messrs E. J. Bell 1 and E. Broadmore, claiming such buildings etc. had become a public incon-» venience. The, council after a brief discussion resolved that the petition be referred to a committee comprisiing G'rs McCracken and Luxton to* report.
