BAY OF PLENTY ELECTORATE The annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty' Electorate Committee of the National Party was held recently at Gisborne, when delegates: were present from the various branches in the electorate. Mr F. J. Short, electorate chairman, presided! over a good attendance. Mr W. Sullivan, M.P., gave an interesting talk on hisi experiences: in Parliament, and told the delegates something of the greatly improved position, of New Zealand's defences. The candidature of Mr Sullivan for the 194,2 General Election was unanimously approved.
