Messrs Wriglit Stephenson and Co. Ltd., report an exceptionally good sale on account of Mr F. S. Hutchings, of Ngakuru., whoi dispersed hiswell known Dalemere Stud. There was much comment on'the type and quality! of the cattle from a large bench of buyers present from surrounding districts, including Wait kato, North Auckland and Bay of Plenty. Spirited bidding was the* order of the clay, a total clearance' resulting in the satisfactory averageof 31 guineas for 40 cows and 37 guineas for seven bulls. Top price of the day was 60 guineas fo,r the stylish cow Edin Park Mysu bought by Mr C. H. Small, North Auckland, while the highest figure for yearling bulls was 50 guineas, paid by the Waikato breeder, A. A. Steel, for Dalemere Better Still. Other realisations were:—..
