A Whakntane andience was in- ( traduced to this new song last even- y ing at the 'Awake New Zealand' So- t cial when Dr Fletcher Cole sang this swinging marching air to a delighted crowd. The new air which is a successor to the popular 'Sons of the Diggers' " which appeared last year should have wide appeal in view of the increasing interest now focussed upon the Home Guard. We congratulate Mr Armstrong on his- initiative .in this direction and wish him success with his latest.
