AEROPLANE'S BEHAVIOUR CONCERN IN TOWN Stunting low over the town yesterday a single seater aeroplane caused something of a scare when it dived' beyond! the sand' banks on the north side of the harbour and was not seen again from the ground level. The 'planers behaviour caused 6ome consternation in the town and at least one party set out, to investigate. The explanation came later however from a resident on Hillcrest who described! how the machine had straightened out when 1 it neared the water and almost at wave level made its way along: the coast.
