Juryman's "Luck"

To be selected for four juries in succession and to be appointed foreman of each, was tb.c experience of Mr L. Thorburn during, a recent session of the Supreme Court in Palmerston North. One would have expected Mr Tlicrburn, after serving three times, not to be called again, but the law of averages was against , him. His card was first out of the box which had been rotated in, opposite directions and in addition the cards had been stirred up by the Registrar.
