MIDNIGHT PHENOMENA

VIVID GLOW IN SKY . SEEN AT KOPEOPEO Returning to his home at approximately 1 a.m .on Monday morning Mr Vic Allen, of Victoria Avenue, stated that he was startled to see the whole countryside suddenly illuminated 1 by a great ball of light in the sky. The visitation, he said, was so vivid that it became as light as day. Looking up he saw the tail of a bright body disappearing over the bills. The trail it left he declares was a substantial one, and he asks if any other persons happened to have noted the phenomenon.
