MEAT POWDER
FARMERS' UNION EXPERIMENTS WIVES BECOMING INTERESTED At last Executive meeting of the Auckland Farmers' Union a letter was received from Mrs A. F. Cates, President of the Awakino Point branch of the W.D.F.U., stating that her husband had brought home from last conference a sample of the meat powder vrith which the Union had been experimenting. She had tried it out in. various forms and her family had all enjoyed the various dishes. She considered it should prove a wonderful stand-by for housewives in Britain, and ofl'ered the help of the branch, if possible, in sending a small sample to friends and relatives in England. It was decided to reply thanking Mrs Cates for her offer, and to forward a portion of the quantity at present on hand.
