WEEK-END BOWLING
HOLLIS WINS TOURNEY An enjoyable one-day tournament took place 1 on the local greens last week-end when ten teams took part. Play was keen and the play-oiff resulted in one of the closest games of the season, between Hollis and Luxton. Some indication of the keenness of the play may be gathered from the fact that on the last head at one point the score was S all. Details of the play were-: Otley, Bennett, McLeod and Hunt 3 wins; Smith, Pearson, Grant and Sloane 2%; O'Rourke, Drube, Bath and Hollis 4; Jackson, Creeke, Francis and Shaw 3; Hammond, Dixon, Henderson and Loane 2; Shapley, Berg, Hayward and Littlejohn 1: Grace, Salmon, Marsh and Foster 1; Moore, Hewtison, White and Luxton 3%: McKenzie, Oswald, Paterson and Currah 2%: Hunt, Healy, King and Howat 2%. Percentage Fours In an enjoyable game of Percentage Fours last Saturday the following "scores Ave re registered:— Otley, Hewtison, Bell and Sloane 27 beat O'Rourke, Cole, Marsh and ShaAV 12; McMillan, King, Pearson and Baxter 24 beat Murphy, Burgess, Bigelow and Hollis 15; Bennett, Salmon, White and Mclsaac 21 beat King, Bell, Hellyar and Howat 18: Smith, Creeke Francis and Loane 19 beat Wilson, Bullard, Tippett and Currali 16; Jackson, Boon, Drube and Chambers 24 beat Grace, Hcaly, McLeod and Paterson 14.
Junior Stars In a Junior Stars match L. King and Darvill (holders) 25 beat Wilson and Bennett 11.
