NEW COMMITTEE ELECTED
LITTLE INTEREST SHOWN
Five householders attended the. «ieeting of householders called for the election of nine members for the Whakatane School Committee on Wednesday, 15th April.
Nine nominations -were received ttnd these nominees were elected for the ensuing two year term of office.
At a meeting of the new committee held immediately after the householders' meeting the following officers were elected:—
Chairman: Rev. S. G. Caulton: Hon. Secretary.' Mr C. W. Good: Hon. Treasurerc Mr L. R. Spring; the remaining" members of the committee being Messrs A. Searle, N. S. Major, F. W. Lysaght, AV. E. Armstrong, H. D. Paterson, J. H. B. Warner.
