NO SHOOTING SEASON
CANCELLATION BY GOVERNMENT The War Cabinet has decided to cancel the shooting season this year. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser said the decision; was reached after a thorough survey of the available supply of equipment and ammunition, and after hearing the case for a short season presented by acclimatisation societies for conservation of equipment and ammunition as represented by the military authorities on the other.
