PATRIOTIC DANCE
ASSISTING AWAKERI FUNDS A most enjoyable dance was held in the Awalteri Hall recently. Owing to counter attractions the attendance was not so great as usual but a fair profit was made and will thus benefit the Patriotic funds. During the evening a lamb, kindly donated by Mr S. Sinclair, was raffled and was won by Mr T. Cameron with ticket 3. A generous donation of grapes sent along by the Melville family was auctioned and realised a good sum. The Victory Boys' Band provided its usual spirited music and Mr Coll Macdonald proved a very efficient M.C.
