THEFT OF BICYCLE NEXT OFFENDER TO MT. EDEN "The next offender for the theft of a bicycle in Whakatane will go to Mount Eden gaol without option," warned the Bench yesterday Avhen Rangi Puku appeared before Messrs G. A. Brabant and J. G. Mulholiand. Puku who pleaded guilty was sentenced to a month's imprisonment in the local gao.l. Moke Hunia who was charged with breaking and entering the store of Hay and Rogers at Bdgccumbe was- remanded to appear at the Magisterial sitting of the court on the loth inst. Pataro Watarawi for a second offence was fined 20s and costs for drunkenness.
