WHAKATANE CONTRIBUTION The Whakatane postal authorities report that tlie Bonds for Bombers campaign has met with a good response in this town. On Mondaj £10(51 was handed over the counter for Bomber Bonds and on Tuesday £2027, bringing the. total to date up to £.">273. With two further days to go it is anticipated that the final figure will be Avell worthy of the town. At Taneatua, up till the weekend £021 had been subscribed and at Te Teko £-133.
