Tlie Nazis intend to Balkanise European Russia conquered by them by studding this vast area with "nationalit\ r islands," including Poles, Czechoslovaks, Ruthenians, Lithuanians, Yugoslavs and Jews. This is designed to split up the Russians and the Ukrainians and to create a maximum of political and cultural friction in this area, making it easier for the Xazis to dominate Eastern Europe. At the same time the elimination of the Czechoslovaks and j the Poles from the German Lcbcnsraum would give the Germans a better chance to colonise the Western Slavic countries by German farmers and artisans.
