Remember, the Maori is increasing at twice, or more, the rate of the pakeha. The East Coast branch of the N.Z.E.I, prophesies a colour problem'. Might we noit have that and something worse? It is high time that our people wakened up and expressed a definite opinion on this matter. Doubtless most folk will throw all responsibility upon the police, and go their way: but this will not clear them. The responsibility is c.n us and will remain there. Since the police cannot possibly be in two or three places at the one time it is the simplest matter in the world to carry on this illicit trade.
