Mrs H. Bell, Waimana, lias left fo.v n holiday to be spent in Auckland. Mrs Wardlaw, Snr., and Mr and Mrs C. Neil son, of Auckland, hav returned to that city after a short stay in Waimana. .Mrs Clarke, of Auckland, and Miss B. Patterson, of Gore, are the guests of Mr and Mrs G. W. Collins, Tancntua. Mirs McNamara (Waiuku), Mrs Smith (Otaua), Mrs Shaw (O'hine\vai), and Mrs Upton (Waihi) are the guests of Mrs T. Wardlaw. "Greenmeadows," Waimana. ENGAGEMENT Taylor—Chalklen. The engagement is announced (and the wedding will take place shortly) of Leslie Taylor, of Edgecumbe, and Winifred (Judy) Chalklen also of Edgecumbe.
