GREAT BAG OF POLISH AIR FORCE

I The following is a summary of the activities of tlie Polish Air Force in. Great Britain, for the fourteen months: The fighter command has had 1494 fights, with 378 enemy machines destroyed for certain, and a furthei 102 probables, while 48 were damaged. The Polish fighters lost 64 men, with 55 Avounded. The Polish bomber command has made 258 operational llights in which 1116 machines have taken part. 83 men have been killed and 106 lost. The chief targets have been Berlin, Hamburg, Kiel, Bremen, Essen, Mannheim, Frankfurt on the Rhine, Emden, Hannover, O'snabruck, Dusseldorf, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Ostend, Dunkirk, La Havre, Boulogne, Calais, Cherbourg and I'Orient.
