TE TEKO DANCE
SALE OF PRODUCE A very enjoyable and successful social and dance took place 1 In the Te T'eltoi Hall last week, when the local Farewell Committee took the opportunity of augmenting its funds. In spite of the broken weather a large crowd attended, and danced to the music supplied by Kingi's Rhythm Band. The supper arrangements were in the capable hands of Mr and Mrs Napier Hona and Mrs. Leo Anderson. The competition fc.r a decanter and goblets was won by Mrs M. Topata. Duf-ing the evening the produce which was generously donated by the local residents was auctioned by Mr Taffy Atkinson, who also acted as M.C. in his usual capable manner. This popular officer also worn approbation by paying the top price for a choice cut of pork.
