COROMANDEL RESOLUTION

Mr Thorn replied by telegram as 1 follows: — "Many thanks for wire with council's excellent resolution which I personally approve. Will bring this to ' Prime Minister's attention today." The Prime Minister, Right Hon. P. Fraser, also replied by telegram as under: — "Mr J. Thorn, M.P., has placed your telegram in frojnt of me for consideration which it will most certainly receive. The suggestions you make are important and will be examined with a view to determining how far they are practicable. Please accept my thanks for the. intelligent and patriotic interest in matters of such great national importance shown by your council."
