WHAKATANE FIGURES
MONTHLY TOTALS The admissions to the Whakatane Hospital last month were 62 males and 83 females. There were 124 discharges (48 males, 76 females) and 70 remaining in hospital. Births totalled, 18 (6 male, 12 females) and three deaths (male). Operations performed totalled 71 of which 12 were major. The average of daily occupied beds was 63.86.
