FERGUSON'S ROAD
QUESTION OF DEDICATION REPORT TO BE .MADE Writing the County Council yesterday Mr A. Ferguson stated that his access road l'rom the council's letter of the lttth February, did no! appear to be dedicated. Ihe wiitei asked that an enquiry be made at the Native Land Court, Rotcrua, as to whether such was a Native roadline. Whether a road had been laid off 01* not, the writer would like the council to consider the dedication of a road in the locality shown on an enclosed sketch, coloured red. Access had been denied some 12 sections and a road in the location mentioned above would provide all such sections with a road access.
The County Clerk reported that Mr Ferguson's application had been referred to the Native Department, Rotorua, which Department had advised that there was no dodicated road along the northern bank of the Orini Drain. It was recommended that application be referred, to Cr McCracken for a report.
