WEDDING BELLS

GRANT—TOCKER

A quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated at the Taneatua Meth— odist Church on March 9. 1942;: between Margaret Tyne, twin daughter of Mr and Mrs H. W. Tocker, of Taneatua, and John Alexander Robinson, second son of Mr and the Mrs Grant, of Gisborne. The Rev. G. V. Thomas was the officiating minister, and Mrs Frank Darvill presided at the organ. The bride who entered the church, escorted by her father, looked charming in a frock of charmeuse satin, cut on slender lines, with a long becoming train. Her beautiful veil fell from a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a beautiful bouquet of asters, lillies and maiden hair fern. The bride was attended by her twin sister Betty, attired in a frock of pink Swiss muslin over pink taffeta. She carried a bouquet of dahlias, lillies and maiden hair fern. Mr Tom Maughan, of Gisborne, acted as best man. Mir and Mrs Grant left by motor the bride wearing a smart autuma suit of Indian Gold, with hat and accessories to tone.
