FOOLS BRIGADE A FAILURE
The Germans, for obvious reasons, made no attempt to recruit the Czechs in the Avar against Russia. But Fascists belonging to the Vlajka group, under a certain Blalia, attempted to organise a legion to be sent against Russia in the "holy war against Jewish Bolcshevism." By a coincidence the folloAvcrs of Blaha are called "Blahovci/' Avhieh, in the Czech language, is fools. The so-called "galloAvs humour" started to ridicuY this "Fools Brigade," the organisation of Avhieh ended in complete failure. At the same time the Germans started the recruiting of horses in Bohemia and Moravia for purposes of war. This Avas followed by a Czech Avhispering campaign to Die eifcct that only horses can lie recruited in Czech territory, not men.
