HOME NURSING

ST. JOHN DIVISION

LOCAL BRANCH FORMED

At a meeting held in the Methodist Hall recently it was decided to form a local branch of the St. John Home Nursing Division. Officers were elected as follows:— Division Superintendent: Miss Tait. Division Secretary: Miss Henry. Division Surgeon: Dr. F. J. Appleby. Subscriptions were lixed at 2/- per quarter and it was decided that meetings, be held every Monday night at 7.30 p.m. until the Home Nursing classes re-commencc. At the first meeting of the branch there was an attendance of 20 members. Instruction and. demonstrations of Stretcher Drill were given by Mr A. Carling of the St. John Ambulance Brigade assisted by a party from the Home Guard Medical Coy.
