RAILAGE OF WOOL
SEASON'S FINAL OFFERING It was announced yesterday by the Chairman of the Auckland Woolbrokers' Association, Mr F. G. Binney, that arrangements had been made by the Woolbrokers with the Railway Department, for the railing of all wool available for the last nppraisal of the season. The date of this fixture had not yet been arranged, but it was likely that it Would be held early in April. Over 21,000 bales are expected to be available for 'the season's fifth appraisal in Auckland, which will commence on 26th February. The work of appraising this offering is likely to extend over the week-end. The offering will raise the total quantity sent forward to Auckland this season to 80.000 bales. A further 18,000 bales are expected to complete the season's appraisement, and arrangements have been made for this wool to be accepted in reasonable quantities, so as to enable all available to reach Auckland in time for preparation for the final j appraisal.
