LOSS IN THE 'QUAKE
BREAKAGES IN SHOP
The only loss of any Consequence in the recent series of earth tremors which occurred on Sunday and Monday evenings, is reported 1 from R. and M. Craig's store at Poroporo, where the movement was so pronounced that it shook the greater part of the goodsi from the shelves. As a result the damage approached something in the vicinity of £5. Stock destroyed was miainly bottled and 1 perishable commodities.
