Thiis proved to be well done and no lights were visible irom the town, Hililcrest or the Head's after the bar had been crossed. Car lights revealed themselves on Hillcrest and at Ohope 011 several occasions and when handy to the town a faint sky glow was visible apparently coming from the Strand. The chief warden, Mr B. S. However, .he added that residents had reason at present to take every care to screen lights effectively.
