Manawahe beach is very popular these days especially at week-ends. . On Saturday night, February 14, a very enjoyable sports evening wagheld. Mr Jones, physical .welfare officer from Rotorua, was again present . His enthusiasm made thcf evening go with a swing. The last hour was spent in dancing and community singing. Individual items also enjoyed. Manawahe recently welcomed • the sight of the County Council's lorries and grader as the roads were not of the best owing tci weather conditions. / N — V
