Bank Uniforms

Following the fashion set by business houses which equip their employees with uniforms, the Bank of New Zealand in Whakatane is now graced with female staff arrayed in an attractive blue uniform with monogram "8.N.Z." neatly worked thereon. Jt is stated that the local branch has originated this idea and that the uniform is to save the ycung ladies' clothes. However, as well as having an eye to the usefulness of the uniform, as is very natural and peculiar to the female of the specie, care has been taken to choose a colour not only suitable but also attractive.
