GOOD TURN' GESTURE
DEDICATION SERVICE
Further details in connection with the 'forthcoming 'Scout week-end' have been arranged. The Guides, who were cxpccted to be participating in the Saturday afternoon 'Good Turn' gesture, will now be engaged in making camouflage netting. The Scouts will therefore carry cut the cleaning of the foreshore on their own. Afternoon tea will be served in the open and a swim will conclude the day. In the evening the gathering will take place in the Methodist Hall and parents and friends will be invited. The parade and combined service on Sunday will be held in the King Street Hall as planned, and will be an appropriate gesture as a day of dedication, in memory of the illustrious founder of Scouting. Guides, Scouts and Cubs will take part. Details are: Saturday afternoon parade 1 p.m.: Saturday eA'ening 7.30 p.m.; Sunday service 2 p.m.
