Hoarding of Sugar

Two instances of sugar hoarding were related in Opotiki recently. In one case a farmer managed to purchase three bags of sugar. Another farmer did the rounds e.f the grocery shops and had three half-bags of sugar stowed away in the back of his car. An attempt to secure another hall-bag from still another grocer did not succeed.
