KNOWLEDGE OF FARMING GIRL GUIDES TO ASSIST Several girls with knowledge of farming were available for employment, said the president, Mr N. R. Jamieson, at a meeting of the Hawke's Bay Provincial Executive of the Farmers' Union in Hastings. Mr Jamieson said that Miss Herrick, Dominion Girl Guides' Commissioner, had pointed out that the girls would be most needed on dairy farms.
