Freeman, S.M., was in his element when a Thames joinery factory was prosecuted for a breach of certain industrial regulations. He asked questions and expressed opinions which indicated that he had more than a passing knowledge of joinery work, and finally came out, somewhat diffidently, with this: "What I don't know about joinery isn't worth knowing—put it that way! I've done a fair bit of it in my time!"
