Exempted Glasses The following classes are exempted from liability to enrol: — 1. Men in receipt of invalid pensions. 2. Inmates for the time being of hospitals, mental hospitals, blind institutes and prisons. 3. Men already enrolled in the Home Guard, National Military Reserve, the E.P.S., or any other branch of the, Emergency Reserve Corps. 4. Men actively attached- to any branch of the Armed Forces.
3. Exemption from liability to enroll continues in force only so long as a man is actually included in one of the above classes,. Once a man ceases to be included his liability to become enrolled is immediate. interview and Allocation of Duties I. Arrangements will be made for the interview of all men who enrol, with a view to their selection for an allocation tot one of the branches of the Emergency Reserve Corps,. I. Time and place of interview will be notified with acknowledgment of enrolment or by subsequent notice. 5. Personnel for Fire-watching service will be selected independently by Building Fire Wardens.
4. Personnel for Traffic Police duties in rural areas will also be selected independently by officers of the Traffic Corps. 5. In the allocation of duties, full regard will be had for the circumstances of each person. The onus is on the employers of staffs and individuals to ensure that all men in their employment who are liable to enrol have duly complied with their obligations.
