Posters arc now being placed round the town setting out details of the recently enacted legislation for the formation the Emergency Reserve Corps, which will embrace all male British subjects between the ages of 18 and 65 years inclusive. There are exempted classes but aparl from that service is compulsory and details arc set out under three separate headings, which read:— Obligations of Men Affected 1. The liability to enroll is immediate. 2. The necessary forms (known as N S O—6) are obtainable afc all post offices. 3. Enrolment forms should be forwarded to the E.P.S. headquarters nearest to residence of cach man effected. 4. Acknowledgment of enrolment will be forwarded in due course. Should this not be received in reasonable time the fact should be notified to the secretary E.P.S. organisation, at the address to which the enrolment form has been forwarded. 5. Failure to enrol constitutes an offence against the National Emergency Regulations, 1940, and is
