A WAR WEDDING
(N.Z.E.F. Official News Service) CAIRO, Nov. 29. New Zealand nurses, soldiers and airmen were gathered early this month at Helwan at the wartime wedding of Sergeant Frank Reid Miller, a New Zealander serving with the Royal Air Force in the Middle East, and Sister Edith May Chamberlain of the New Zealand Army Nursing Service. Sergeant Miller is a son of Mr and Mrs P. Miller, Riccarton, Christchurch, and Sister Chamberlain is the elder daughter of Mr and Mrs W. E. Chamberlain, Gisborne. The ceremony, in St. Paul's Church, Helwan, was conducted by Padre Mouley of the R.A.F. The bride, whoi wore white, was given away by her cousin, Corporal E. Chamberlain, 2 N.Z.E.F. Also in white was Sister Mira Larsen, N.Z. A.N.S., of Christchurch. Private Colin Bell of Lower Hutt wasi best man. A New Zealand-made three-tier cake was cut at the reception which was held in the sisters' mess garden At a New Zealand general hospital.
