Lysaght, stated that to improve the supply in the Taneatua Road area all poles had been refitted and extra second-hand cable has been erected. Position Reversed On account of the names being reversed from alphabetical order a mistake was inadvertently made in recording the votes at Arakihi Station polling pool during the recent by-election. The figures as published in the Beacon and broadcast on election night, gave the position as follows: Mills 5, Sullivan 0. The correct result was: Sullivan 5, Mills 0. We understand that the voters of Arakihi Station were thunderstruck as they gathered around their wireless set on election night and the result came through-"that they had all recorded their votes for Mr Mtills. However the error was observed during the official count and the votes went to Mr Sullivan whose majority was increased thereby by 10 votes.
