Ragwort's Festive Season: Christmas and New Year bring the ragwort flowering season as well as the festive season. A tour round Whakatanc County's highways and byways this Aveek caused one to notice odd ragwort plants in full bloom in the midst of good pastures. What a pity someone handy had not "nipped in the bud" this yellow peril of a noxious weed. The Whakatanc County Council is <loing its bit to destroy ragwort by employing men on badly infested blocks of land. What about the farmer with the odd ragwort in bloom doing the same?
