THE BLACKOUT
CAR LIGHTING REGULATIONS MM ED I ATE STEPS TO BE TAKEN Regulations just gazetted have been received by the Controller of the Borough Emergency Precautions Scheme Organisation re 1 - lajtive to the showing of car lights. No carsi will be permitted! to be left in streets with iany light showing at any point that is ditrectly visible to the! open sea. The whole question of street enforcement of the blackout as applied l to Whakatane is to be taken up by the E.P.S. and steps taken for its complete enforcement taken immediately.
