LIMITED RESERVATIONS

SPACE AT PRESENT CEMETERY

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE TAKEN The town clerk, Mr D. V. Saunders, reported to Monday's meeting that he had received recently applications for reservations of plots at the ceipetery, these evidently being made by reason of the more convenient location of the existing cemetery. The general adoption of the practice, he said, would not be desirable. The Mayor added that if reservations were unlimited the present cemetery would be lacking in available space before the new one was ready for use. It was decided that the Clerk be instructed that the reservation of cemetery plots, except where they are adjacent to the graves of deceased near relatives, be not permitted.
